Chanel Nails

Out of all the high fashion designers I have to say that Chanel is my favorite. Especially for accessories. I'm absolutely dying for a Chanel bag and I'm hoping I can get one for my college graduation present. Also Chanel nail polishes are my absolute favorite. They have such unique lacquers that no other brand seems to be able to replicate. My boyfriend got me the Chanel polish below for christmas and I'm completely obsessed with it. The photo above is a Chanel inspired Nail Art done by moi.

I love this color "graphite" by Chanel. I have the eyeshadow, but I also really want to polish.

Leopard Print

Writing this post in Saratoga Springs, NY which is a quaint and pretty town. It was such a beautiful drive up here. Everything was covered in snow, but the sun was shinning! Perfect winter day. Anyways for today's nail art I wanted to continue with my love of cat themes. I talked about my obsession for Hello Kitty so of course I equally love leopard print always have and always will! I own at least one of every possible accessorie or item of clothing in a leopard print. :) Leopard print nails are also a super easy and quick way to get some awesome yet classic nail art going. To do yourself just choose any two polish colors that complement each other. Use one for the base coat and then make little dots all over the nail with the other. Finally use a black nail art pen or polish that has a thin brush to do the outline of the print. Here are two leopard nail designs I have done in the past.

Snowy Days

Another Snowy Day at Bard College in Upstate New York... I was supposed to go up to Saratoga Springs to visit my best friend at Skidmore, but this snow storm prevented me from going ugh. Take me back to California! One thing I definitely did not get used to these past four years on the East Coast is the winter. The lack of sun really really gets to me, but I just invested in a HappyLight which I have been using the past couple days. I can't really tell if it makes me happier or not, but hey I'll keep using it! Whatever helps! Above is a snowflake nail art design for the occasion!

Airbrush Nail Art

When I don't feel like doing my own nail art one of my favorite places to go is CT Nails in West Hollywood. They do airbrush designs that look absolutely incredible! Also, the guy who does them is super friendly and lets you have some creative input. Here are two designs I've gotten in the past.  I'll post others in the future! Stay tuned!

Hello Kitty Nails

Today's post is dedicated to Hello Kitty. My initial inspiration to do crazy cool nail art is my love for all things Hello Kitty. I've always loved cats and am quite a girlie girl so naturally Hello Kitty is one of my favorite characters. She's a fun addition to any accessory including nails!

Below are a couple Hello Kitty Designs I have done in the past. My next nail art after my valentine's nails chip will be a whole new hello kitty inspired design. Stay tuned to see it!

First Post! Valentine's Day Nails

Yesterday was my anniversary with my boyfriend of two years and as everybody knows Valentine's Day is coming up in the next week so I wanted to spice up my nails for the holiday. I don't particularly find Valentine's Day to be the most pleasant holiday so it's nice to have met my boyfriend around this time, although our first Valentine's Day was so awkward as you can all imagine. We had known each other for only two weeks. It wasn't too serious yet, but still not serious enough to make a big deal out of it. We ended up getting a bottle of wine and staying in which was so relaxing. Last year we went to wings night so romantic hahaha. This year we're keeping up the chill tradition and going to see "Warm Bodies' which I'm super excited about!

For my nail design I used Milani Nail Art Polish ("Draw in Pink","White Canvas","Art of Silver", "Black"), Milani "Paradise Pink" and  Revlon "Cloud".
